& TACTICS - BLACKJACK
Did you know that Blackjack is one of the casino games
with the best odds?
The only catch to Blackjack is that you must play online
gambling right to win! Blackjack is also believed
to be the most popular casino game.
It is always best to play Basic Strategy. However, if
you don't want to check into the strategy chart, every
time before making a move you can use these basic guidelines.
• Take a card on 16 or lower because you can't win unless
the dealer bust.
• Stand anyway if the dealer shows a 4,5, or 6 because
he is more likely to bust
• "Doubling down" involves doubling your wager and getting
one more card when you feel strongly that you will beat
the dealer when doing so.
• Always split 8's or 7's against a dealer's card of equal
or lower value.
• Always split 2's or 3's against a 4, 5, or 6.
• Always split aces.
• Never split face cards, 10's, or 5's.

Who is Playing at Online Casinos?
Dear [Name],
Thank you to all of you who wrote in after last
month’s newsletter with your comments.
I would like to take this opportunity to put a
myth to bed! This month a report was released
by Peak Entertainment who had done extensive research
on who was playing at online casinos. They received
2008 responses to a voluntary survey with surprising
results.
Contrary to the typical stereotyping of online
players and the negative images they conjure up,
it was discovered that most online players are
in fact mature, well educated and middle class.
These people are playing for entertainment and
fun, and are well aware of how much money they
spend each month at online casinos.
As this was a comprehensive and unbiased survey
of the online gaming industry this may mean a
regulation of online gambling as opposed to prohibition
in the future. Let’s hope so!
